# Project Description

Echo of Landscape

Honey Massey

Summary

Final work

I have recently graduated from BA (Hons) Womenswear Design at LCF. For my final year, my work draws inspiration from my surroundings, capturing the rawness of Britain through texture and form. I combine this with my passion for 1970s minimalist interior design, often referencing the structural details of chairs to inform and shape my designs.

Echo of Landscape captures the rawness of Britain through its industrial terrain- an embodied structure shaped by the logic of buildings and stitched with the language of space. Influenced by utilitarian artefacts, contemporary sculpture, and architectural forms, each piece becomes a wearable dwelling: a form not simply worn, but lived. Seams echo structural; frameworks, silhouettes recall shelter, and materials blur the boundary between garment and environment. This is a design in motion rooted in architecture. It reimagines British architecture by constructing a deconstructed vision that explores displacement, isolation, and the unfamiliar. Through craftsmanship and unconventional materials, the work resists traditional fashion- it is construction, a movement in material, a dialogue between body and build, and a lived architecture of the self.
