"HESED YOUR WORLD" – where all are pearls – is a groundbreaking offline adaptive fashion shopping platform designed to promote beauty diversity and enhance sales for adaptive fashion brands.

Diversity and inclusion have been hot topics in the fashion industry in recent years. While the disability community is increasingly represented in marketing campaigns, posters, and media, are the needs of disabled customers truly being met by current fashion options? Has the market successfully quenched the demand for adaptive apparel, projected to be valued at up to USD 400 billion by 2026 (Forbes, 2025)?

These questions inspired the creation of an offline adaptive fashion platform that brings together various adaptive fashion brands in a monthly market. This platform will also collaborate with non-adaptive brands to promote beauty inclusivity and diversify the product range. The market will serve as a marketing tool, fully utilising the functions of a fashion runway, retail space, catering, and entertainment to connect disabled and abled retailers, customers, and entrepreneurs as a community, echoing the same message: all lived experiences are worth celebrating.

4 Pillars of Hesed Your World

The 4 pillars includes shopping, entertainment, culture and community.

Mock Up for the Offline Adaptive Fashion Shopping Platform Design

The design of the offline adaptive fashion shopping platform is primarily based on both primary and secondary data collection and analysis. It showcases various spatial designs that cater to both disabled customers (especially wheelchair users) and non-disabled customers.

Mock Up for Collaboration with Jaded London

This marketing campaign aims to f amiliarise Londoners with local influencers from the U.K., particularly those based in London, targeting both disabled and able-bodied influencers who are passionate about inclusivity and fashion.

Mock Up for Monthly Events of the Offline Adaptive Fashion Shopping Platform

These series of monthly events aim to: 1) maintain market traffic, 2) build relationships with customers, 3) enhance customer engagement, 4) retain customers and grow loyalty, 5) build community, and 6) create events designed for both disabled and able-bodied people to enjoy together, breaking down barriers and fostering social integration.

Research and process

Primary Research - Semi-structured Interview

The primary research involved interviews with a total of five people, including fashion industry insiders, disability center staff, and disabled shoppers. Their valuable insights have been incorporated into the final outcomes for both the marketing campaigns and the offline platform design, promoting beauty diversity, enhancing accessibility, and increasing sales for adaptive fashion brands.

Primary Research - Survey

The primary research collects data from disabled individuals, their caregivers, and staff from disability organizations. The survey covers aspects such as accessibility, interests, challenges, and difficulties related to offline shopping, as well as opinions on beauty inclusivity and social integration.
