Dreamscape explores the relationship between dreams and architecture, drawing on personal experiences of lucid dream spaces. As users move through the repeated aluminium door frames, they are presented with moments of questioning and reflection. The structure's rigidity reflects the inevitability of dreaming, yet the open layout gives a sense of agency, like in lucid dreams. The design references my site, St Giles in the Fields, a quiet retreat in central London, and ties to research such as ‘24/7 Late Capitalism and the Ends of Sleep’, which critiques constant productivity and encourages rest.
