# Project Description Quiet in Fog - Communism and Theism Haoran Tang Summary Final work College London College of Fashion Course BA (Hons) Fashion Design Technology: Menswear Graduation year 2025 Communism and Theism is a conceptual fashion project that explores the intersection of political ideology and spiritual abstraction. It investigates how clothing can function as a vessel for sanctity, structure, and transformation—beyond religious or secular symbolism Rooted in the designer’s experience under socialist collectivism, the project draws on Soviet military uniforms, Roman Catholic vestments, and Brutalist architecture—particularly the ecclesiastical works of Le Corbusier. It reflects on how sacredness persists and mutates within authoritarian structures, using fashion as a medium to reimagine the body beyond identity and function.
