Graduation year 2025

Time never really "passes". We are constantly re-feeling and re-constructing our memories, and emotion is no longer a private experience, but a tool for the world to perceive its own fictionality through the channel of the "I". In the folds of the world, we have to make a choice: do we switch off our emotional system and let reality become a painless illusion? Or, like the elephant butterfly, do we inhabit the emotional vibrations and awaken the remnants of memories that lie dormant in the minds of others?

This work combines the theory of simulated universe, psychology of emotions and philosophy of consciousness from an interdisciplinary perspective to build a narrative framework of "reality as a variable simulator". Under the appearance of controlling time and memory, I don't mean to express that people can try to change the past, but can re-perceive it, and through constant emotional resonance, inspire the viewer to doubt and resonate with the reality of existence.
