# Project Description MA show Haobin Wang Summary Final work In the character of Jorge, a vibrant, symbolic representation of myself, I delve into a rich exploration of identity, set against the backdrop of societal spectacles and the tensions of neo-liberal capitalism. Using a palette of colour, play, and the improvisational spirit of free jazz, Jorge stands as a beacon of my journey towards self-actualisation, a journey often navigated within the confines of societal norms and expectations. Jorge embodies my pushback against the constant pressures of a demanding world. His existence is a bold assertion of individuality, a vibrant splash of colour in an otherwise impersonal landscape. Through him, I orchestrate scenarios that unveil the unexpected joys of life, meticulously piecing together situations that echo my persistent quest for beauty amidst chaos. As his character continues to evolve, it signifies my own journey of self-discovery and expression.
