# Project Description Unfolding from Within Hai Li Sung Summary Final work College London College of Fashion Course MA Fashion Design Technology (Womenswear) Graduation year 2025 The final collection explores dissociation as a state between protection and re-emergence, translating psychological experience into sculptural, wearable form. Through techniques of peeling, reconstruction and controlled draping, the garments express fragmentation, vulnerability and resilience. Wool, denim and shirting fabrics form the material foundation, chosen for their tactile qualities, durability and emotional familiarity. The collection is gender-inclusive and designed to move with the body, allowing wearers to project their own identity and emotional experience onto the garments. Overall, the work presents fashion as both a physical and emotional structure, where clothing becomes a space for memory, transformation and return. Final work Look 4 Final Collection Draped Jumpsuit A back view of a model wearing a black, asymmetrical jumpsuit with a dramatic one-shoulder drape and an open back, paired with fluid, wide-leg trousers that fall softly to the floor. The look feels sculptural, minimal, and bold. Look 2 Final Collection Deconstructed Tailored Jacket A navy tailored jacket shown from the back, featuring a clean vertical cut-out that exposes the spine and soft inner layers beneath. The asymmetrical hem and fluid drape contrast with the sharp structure, creating a refined yet vulnerable silhouette. Look 1 Sculptural Shield A sculptural black ensemble defined by sharp, exaggerated geometric forms that envelop the body like an architectural shell. The elongated headpiece and asymmetrical cut-outs create a striking tension between concealment and exposure, transforming the wearer into a moving structure that explores protection, restriction, and vulnerability.
