# Project Description Heritage Facade Ha Vy Le Summary Final work College School of Pre-Degree Studies Course UAL Foundation Diploma in Art and Design Graduation year 2025 Rooted in Vietnamese heritage, this bridge becomes more than a crossing, it is a quiet tribute to memory, identity, and resilience. Inspired by the lotus flower, a national symbol of purity rising from muddy waters, the design speaks of growth, transformation, and cultural strength. Traditional patterns and forms are reinterpreted, allowing history to flow into the present. Constructed from bamboo and wood, materials deeply tied to handcraft and everyday life, the bridge reflects a connection to the land and to sustainable ways of building. Its façade does not merely enclose, it tells stories. As people move across it, they encounter layers of symbolism and meaning, woven into the surfaces and spaces. The bridge invites not only passage but pause, becoming a cultural thread between two shores, between tradition and innovation, between the past and what is still to come.
