Twilight Zone is a jewellery and accessory collection that explores the fluidity of identity through innovative materials and digital experiences.

Using polarizing 3D-printed resin, colour-changing synthetic gemstones, and anodized titanium, the pieces create dynamic visual effects that shift under different light and perspectives.

Inspired by contemporary discourse around Drag performances and subcultural aesthetics, the project blends sexually suggestive elements and metaphors of transformation through flowing energy.

By integrating augmented reality, virtual characters, and conceptual animations, it extends jewellery beyond adornment, positioning it as a storytelling medium across physical and digital spaces.

Twilight Zone conceptual video-Guangkuo Zhao

This concept video presents the virtual character of the jewellery collection.

It visualises how the character undergoes a transformation of identity through the flowing energy represented by the jewellery pieces, drawing inspiration from drag performances
