Salú takes its name from the Spanish word salud, meaning "cheers" or "health"—a toast to togetherness. In everyday conversation, especially in Spain, the final “d” is often dropped, giving rise to the more colloquial salú. This informal, familiar tone sets the mood for a project that celebrates social connection and shared experiences.
The collection features six double-sided glasses, each pairing a champagne flute on one end with a wine or cocktail glass on the other. Inspired by Mediterranean food culture, Salú encourages communal dining and spontaneous hosting, offering versatility in drinkware while minimising storage space.
Made from borosilicate glass, the pieces are durable, fully recyclable, and designed for longevity. A multifunctional approach reduces material use, while production methods such as glass tube forming and flame-working ensure efficient, low-waste manufacturing. Blending practicality with elegance, Salu reimagines contemporary glassware as a sustainable, space-conscious solution for modern gatherings.

Salú Collection – Full Set Line-Up
This image showcases the full Salú glassware collection: six elegant, double-sided glasses that combine two drink types in one seamless form. Each piece features a unique pairing—such as a wine glass and a cocktail glass—joined at the stem and designed for flipping between uses. Set against a soft beige background, the transparent forms highlight the collection’s minimalist aesthetic and space-saving functionality, blending practicality with sculptural beauty.
