# Project Description in_place_of_home// Giulia Brufani Summary Final work College School of Pre-Degree Studies Course UAL Foundation Diploma in Art and Design Graduation year 2025 Fascinated by the transmutation of the real into the digital, my work explores the poetics of simulation and the limits of digital imitation. By embracing distortions, incomplete translations, and failures, I consider how digital media can form its own material presence – not as a replica, but as a space governed by its own logic. Using Pointclouds and scans of my home, I created collapsing environments to find out how memory becomes uncanny through digital translation.
