Finger Food is an investigation into how particular materials, and design choices can be used to explore cultural differences. Sharing and exchanging is at the core of this project, and I chose to do this through the making of tableware that promotes South Asian art and eating habits.

Finger Food investigates the cultural themes around food and sharing through the lenses of South Asian heritage, art, and design. It focuses on eating habits and how form can affect the interactions between people and food. Cultural heritage is key to Finger Food, its forms reference the cooking Matka, the Tawa pans and Kashikari tile art.
