Graduation year 2025

The Living Soil Lab is a civic material testing facility (re)introducing connective infrastructure for material re-use, taking London’s construction soil waste destined for landfill and re-routing this waste stream into new construction materials. The project speculates on the future of the UK construction industry, forecasting a new architecture of re-use in reaction to dwindling material supply chains. Sited in the English Lowlands eco-region, the project plugs into existing conservation typologies as well as proposing new climate-resilient strategies to build.
