This project begins with a simple question, 'How do people form personal meaning through objects?'. The sculpture comprises forms reminiscent of cherished objects and objects-shelves that hold them. Through a series of interviews asking, 'What is your favourite object?', participants responded in deeply personal terms. Time, traced through rituals, habits, and fleeting moments, weaves memory into material form. 'Objects' suggests how treasured memories quietly cover and preserve the objects.

Final work

A 150cm sculpture with photos of the ‘favourite objects’ collected in the interview, installed and covered with a dust sheet.
