Our vision at Renée Materials is a world without wasted materials! Renée is a marketplace where companies offer their offcuts, surplus stock, and leftover waste to art & design students, creative practitioners, and makers who need materials for their projects. It's essentially like 'Too-Good-To-Go' but for materials.

Hi, we are Renée Materials.
This is Frieda and Vassi, waste warriors and Founders of Renee Materials. Through their own experience in the Creative Industry, they were confronted with a big problem: Waste.
The amount sent to landfills in London alone is equal to 2000 full double decker buses. But what if we told you that 60+% of what is thrown out today could be actually saved and be reused?

Renee's material range
The materials we offer through our Digital Material Hubs are from London's industry. Companies usually have to dispose of their offcuts, surplus and leftover-waste. With us they finally get an alternative to current waste disposal services and can resell these materials to our creative audience. We offer a wide range of different supplies, sorted into nine material categories, helping you find exactly what you need.
Renee's Climate Impact
Our climate is really is at the heart of Renée. So far we have saved 8.5 tonnes of materials going to landfills.
Reuse saves Co2-emissions in three ways. Once by reducing waste, again by replacing the extraction of virgin resources, and once more minising the need for new material production.
The only carbon we create created by us is through our digital marketplace and the relocation of the physical materials within a city. But this is really low, and we’ll keep it there.
