College Central Saint Martins Course BA (Hons) Jewellery Design Graduation year 2025 Florence’s collection “Masters of Reflection” is inspired by the natural quality of gemstones and the industrial processes by which they are transformed. While using traditional jewellery techniques, her pieces examine how the human experience is reflected in the process of creating the perfect diamond. Light reflection is central in revealing the brilliance of each piece and in symbolising clarity and precision. Florence also considers the intricate facets and complexity within each stone, reminding us how we too undergo transformation, like that of a diamond. The 85 stones mirror the many facets a diamond can have, while the polished surfaces amplify its most iconic trait - the ability to beautifully reflect and refract light. The ‘ Master of Reflection Cuff’ stands as a symbol of self-actualisation and achievement, a celebration of the resilience, time and unseen labour it takes to reach one’s full potential.
