Doll Searching is a three-and-a-half minute animated film that tells the story of a boy going into a toy store and trying to find the perfect thing to play with, which in the end, is a doll.

This film was inspired by my own experience when I was a boy and wanting to buy a toy doll when I went to the shops. When making the film I needed to think about how I felt during that time, and how I acted when trying to sneakily look at the doll isle. The anxiety I felt when people were looking at me but also the feeling that I had when I did get my hands on the toy dolls. I remember feeling this rush of awe when looking at them and being completely enthralled and in my own world.
