This project explored how emotional and sensory experiences could reshape social justice reflection in educational contexts. Starting with a question — how do we visualise transformation? — Our team investigated alternatives to traditional evaluation methods, such as forms and surveys.

Through an iterative body mapping workshop, we uncovered the importance of emotional safety, cultural nuance, and non-verbal expression. Building on these insights, we developed a conceptual VR prototype to offer a private, immersive space for reflective practice.

As a supporting contributor, I focused on how immersive design could enhance accessibility, emotional pacing, and user autonomy within reflection spaces.

Immersive Experience

The video presents the project's emotional journey, starting with handwritten body mapping activities where participants express emotions visually on paper. It transitions into a VR experience where users choose colors, paint emotions onto a virtual human form, and type reflections using a virtual keyboard. The experience aims to deepen emotional engagement, foster personal reflection, and create a safe, immersive environment for social justice exploration. The video closes with a metaphorical glowing path symbolizing future transformation.
