The intention of my project, ‘Constant Companion’ was to create a puppet suit for a children's television programme. The concept of my project was to respond to my experience of grief after my mum passing, aiming to represent her and the feeling of her still being around me. My puppet, named Cynthia, is a rabbit/woman hybrid, following my research that explored the nostalgia of my mum and I together. The puppet suit is made by using willow cane to make an inside frame, and papier mache for the face and hands.
