Inspired by my travels and the many cultures I've encountered, I became fascinated by the diverse ways societies preserve the dead each shaped by distinct beliefs about death and the afterlife.

From sacred mummification to artistic taxidermy, these rituals both honor the deceased and preserve their stories. The contrast between finely woven textiles, delicate knits, and the inevitable decay of time reveals the fragile yet enduring imprint of human history.
