This project is about constructing space on the body—the core of my inquiry is the exploration of the relationship between clothing and the body, focusing on the space between them. Drawing inspiration from architecture, I express my duality as both Korean and American through materials and form, using architectural proportions and silhouettes to create visual stability. By repositioning structural elements on different parts of the body, I examine the resulting draped silhouettes and the weight perceived by the wearer, which ultimately informs my design process.
