Efstratios Axiotis

My recent practice revolves around the figurative theatrical depiction of characters drawn from ancient Greek tragedies- samples of the ultimate function of the heart that comes in contrast with the one of the mind. Through their visual representation, I attempt to compose them as a symbol of a life that is in need of such emotions and misfortunes in order to balance the good ones when they do actually come.
