My work aims to explore the mundane as a spectrum oscillating between disgust and sacrality, attempting to depict and assimilate its boundaries via still/moving image. My work is informed by an interest in the mundane, the unnerving, the vulgar and the sacred as overlapping concepts. This interest has evolved into research regarding consumption as an assimilation of love, and, the irrational disgust of loose hair being explained as a foreshadowing of our own death.
