Dante Lising

I’m Dante, a Californian who moved to the UK to study at university. Born and raised in San Francisco, I was first introduced to the world of design in my hometown. Since then, I’ve studied Industrial Design at Emily Carr University in Vancouver and Central Saint Martins in London. During my studies, I had the opportunity to take a year out for a placement at Timex’s design studio, the Giorgio Galli Design Lab, in Milan, where I worked on watch designs for both in-house collections and external clients.

As I’ve explored the world through the lens of design, I’ve looked to challenge the norms and conventions through which products and objects shape our lives, both personally and culturally. In my work I aim to explore our preconceptions of tradition, standardization, and cultural identity, seeking to reimagine them in innovative ways. Looking ahead, I’m excited to explore new opportunities, craft meaningful experiences, and broaden my creative horizons.
