Play With Fire

Profile picture of Dan Le

I am a designer and maker with a focus on experimental enamelling and intuitive 3D modelling. My practice is rooted in a deep appreciation for traditional fine jewellery techniques, while embracing innovation through material exploration and form. Working primarily through hands-on prototyping and digital modelling, I integrate materials and techniques, work out ways to generate new structures and unexpected shapes. I am drawn to designs that strike a balance between creativity and wearability.

Through playfulness and risk-taking, Dan’s collection invites you on an adventurous return to childhood. Inspired by her fascination with fire, she challenges its perception as purely dangerous. Drawing from memories and the curious thrill of “playing with fire”, she creates a space where innocence meets intensity. The collection blends deconstructed flames with fine elements and natural stones. These toy-like treasures summon movement, encouraging adults to rediscover the joy of uninhibited play. In Dan’s childlike spirit, risk-taking becomes a game, and the world, a playground.
