This series explores reflection, both visual and introspective, through flickering forms of light and shadows. Shifting between abstraction and figuration, the work evokes fading memory and the tension between presence and absence. This work incorporates imagery from the films ‘Anora’ and ‘Good Will Hunting’ and explores Gaston Bachelard’s concept of the ‘poetic image’, where past and present coexist in emotionally charged, ambiguous visuals.

Final work

Three paintings on a white wall: a man and a woman in a car at night, an abstract light scene, and a man reclining on a train bench.
