I am a French and Italian textile designer specialized in weaving. I have a maximalist and edgy style with a strong interest in unusual materials and an experimentative approach to weaving.

I will be furthering my education through a masters in biodesign at Central Saint Martins in order to gain scientific knowledge about materials and pursue my passion for sustainable materials and alternatives.

I aim to work in luxury textiles oriented to high end fashion while bridging the gap between design and science for proactive sustainable change.

Everywhere & Nowhere is an exploration and affirmation of my cultural heritage. Growing up in an international environment with French and Italian roots has made me question how people connect to culture, whether their own or the one they’ve lived in.

I based my research on the regions of: Bormio, Alsace, Milano, Versailles/ Paris, Bretagne/ Normandie, Saudi Arabia and England. I attempted to work with a circular and regenerative mindset making use of deadstock and local materials from the various regions I studied. I’ve explored patterns and materials from objects, architecture and traditional clothing to inspire a narrative patchwork collection expressing my personal cultural heritage and understand how it shapes me as a person and a designer.

Final work

cropped image of a girl sitting on the floor in a white space wearing a dress regrouping a collection of eclectic, pattern heavy, woven samples

This garment is inspired by the codes of the traditional clothing I researched. Fashion is and always has been a tool to express identity, and in this case, cultural pride.

The eclectic and maximalist style of this garment regroups a collection of patterns and materials across various cultures patchworked together to create my contemporary version of my personal cultural clothing.
