# Project Description Mend Fences Chen Zou Summary Final work I am graduating from BA Fashion Pattern Cutting. I am graduating from BA Fashion Pattern Cutting. College London College of Fashion Course BA (Hons) Fashion Pattern Cutting Graduation year 2025 The topic is about mending relationships. Relationships are intricate. Disputes can occur with friends or parents. But we are closely connected. So at this time, it is necessary to constantly maintain and repair relationships. The relationships between people need to be constantly maintained to keep in touch. To support this theme, I conducted research on four different sub-themes. The first sub-theme that comes to my mind is snowflakes. I think that people's relationships are like building blocks, constantly breaking up and getting together, quarreling, and making up. The second sub-theme that comes to mind is Transparency. First, it was inspired by the reflection of a transparent snowflake. The superimposed shapes of different transparent color blocks remind me that everyone is actually a different individual, just like the color blocks of different colors. Therefore, in the design development, I will extract the shapes formed by the superposition of different transparent color blocks, and combine them to make many collages to obtain the outline design of the clothing. The third sub-theme is about paper. When people get along with each other, it is inevitable that there will be estrangements in the relationship. After every quarrel, the relationship between people may be deformed. So I thought of paper. Because in the process of origami, the paper will change its original shape. Therefore, I can change the original shape of the paper or origami to get the outline, and then put it on the human body model or collage to get the outline of the clothing for design development.
