In an era where artificial intelligence permeates every aspect of daily life, a new form of faith is quietly emerging. Increasingly, people turn to AI for information, guidance, validation, and emotional reassurance — roles once reserved for spiritual authorities. This project explores AI as the new deity of the digital age. By treating AI as a contemporary spiritual figure, I reimagine and design its visual iconography, sacred symbols, and rituals of prayer tailored for this new "cyber faith."

Through a series of speculative artefacts, including an AI-inspired altar, ceremonial objects, and interactive prayer experiences — the project interrogates how emerging technologies are reshaping spiritual practices and belief systems. It parallels traditional religious confession and modern-day AI consultations, revealing how trust, ritual, and the search for existential meaning persist, even as their forms evolve. By synthesizing technological aesthetics with ancient ritualistic structures, DEUS EX MACHINA invites the audience to reflect on their evolving relationship with authority, dependence, and belief in the age of intelligent machines.
