# Project Description Ricecycle Chancy Pan Summary Final work College Central Saint Martins Course BA (Hons) Product and Industrial Design Graduation year 2025 Ricecycle explores how design can reduce food waste in everyday life by encouraging people to store and reuse leftover rice. The project introduces an edible wrap that makes cold rice more appealing and convenient to eat. By making the act of saving rice easier and more enjoyable, Ricecycle not only promotes sustainable habits but also supports health—reheated rice contains resistant starch, which can help improve digestion and lower calorie intake. Through this simple behaviour shift, Ricecycle invites users to rethink the value of what we often throw away.
