I am a Graphic Design pathway Foundation student progressing to study Graphic Communication Design at Central Saint Martins. My work takes inspiration from the everyday experience of human life, with a keen interest in psychology and storytelling. My final project dives into the emotional aspects of the lives of students; how they care for their minds and deal with emotions, in hopes to encourage reflection, self care, mindfulness and spread positivity.

How can design address the surging rates of mental health issues in young people? In the world we live in, the youth are labelled as 'the anxious generation'. This is due to factors like excessive screen time, tough academic expectations and more. My project 'What Do You Do For YOU?' aims to promote mental wellbeing in students, evoking a sentiment of reflection. It prompts them to think about how, or if, they are prioritising themselves.

How Do You Deal? - a short film

How Do You Deal? - a play on words for 'how do you feel?' - is a short film revealing insight into how students feel about the balance of work and life in their lives and how they deal with emotions. It aims to make the audience question how they deal with their own feelings and how much time they make for themselves.

  • An emotional toolkit of 10 A6 double-sided cards aimed at students, guiding them through emotions.

Breathing Exercise Animation - What Do You Do For YOU? Campaign video

The What Do You Do For You? Campaign consists of a breathing exercise animation video, capturing the attention of students who may be 'doom-scrolling' rather than taking time to look after themselves and really unwind.
