My goal was to express the cultural qualities of my homeland and my childhood, to depict landscapes from my memories, and to convey inner feelings.

I created this work as a way to seek a connection with my roots and to recreate scenes that shaped my perception and view of the world around me. These moments are very important to me, and I wanted to give the viewer a chance to see something homely and warm in them.
