The ambition of this project was to generate work that could enable others to experience what it is like to grow up with a sister. I researched architectural forms to display permanence and the embedded nature of the sisterhood I experienced. The project also considered cultural identity, the tile being a transportable form of architectural embellishment that can be placed in new surroundings whilst still displaying its heritage and geographical origin.
