Silver Sky is a first-person narrative game that puts the player in the impossibly high heels of Angel, an immigrant sex worker navigating a shift at a walk-in dungeon in a near-future London. Set during a single hour between clients, the game is a vignette told through tasks Angel performs to reset the space.
Turning today’s anxieties into perversions, Silver Sky infiltrates the present through kink and fetish, positioning them as active forces that reshape and resist societal norms, whilst speculating on the many futures of sex work. Grounded in the psychoanalytic notion that disavowed anxiety re-emerges in perverse form, the game treats perversion not as pathology but as a worldbuilding method: turning it from symptom to generative tool. Through the voice of its protagonist, Silver Sky foregrounds sex worker’s knowledge as both a critical lens and an insight into emerging cultural and economic shifts.
Rooted in queer imagination, the game transforms a place of restricted access into one of speculative knowledge production. The dungeon functions as a heterotopic site, a spatial version of perversion, mimicking the world outside and twisting its logic.
