Through this project I wanted to explore how simple shapes can be used to create something bigger and more interesting. Tessellations are used for so many different things like patterned tiles and architectural structures. Because of this, I feel like I had quite a lot of freedom when it came to the processes and materials that I use in the exploration process. I explored how I can create tessellations with simple materials like metal and fabrics.

When creating this outcome I was inspired by the Paco Rabanne disc dress as well as traditional afghani jewellery.
