# Project Description Blindness Avery Zhang Summary Final work College London College of Fashion Course BA (Hons) Fashion Textiles: Knit Graduation year 2025 My Final Major Project centres on the creation of a knitwear collection inspired by José Saramago’s novel Blindness. The novel depicts a society destabilized by a sudden epidemic of blindness, where the collapse of order exposes the fragility of human systems. However, within this disintegration, acts of resilience and solidarity offer glimpses of hope. These contrasting forces serve as the conceptual foundation of my collection, where I aim to explore the tension between vulnerability and strength through knitwear design.
