The Spring Lake set design visualizes a location mentioned in the A Court of Thorns and Roses books by Sarah J. Maas. It depicts an enchanted forest within a fairy realm, where a war took place 500 years ago. Due to the magic, which was disturbed by the war for a while, the nature grew back quite oddly over the years, resulting in twisted trees and an alive-looking starlight lake. The pond creates small drops of starlight that drift through the forest – a detail which will be added later by CGI.
