# Project Description What is That? Annie Matthews Summary Final work College School of Pre-Degree Studies Course UAL Foundation Diploma in Art and Design Graduation year 2025 Final work ‘What is that?’ is result of many layers of photography, print and projection among other processes. It explores the value in low-resolution images, the moving image and encouraging a viewer to ask, “What is that?” This photograph is of a 76 x 56.9 cm projection piece. An image of an image is printed and worked over, with a second acetate layer worked over with the same image and suspended in the air. A four minute video of the same imagery glitching and moving around the work is projected over the entire piece and interacts differently with the two surfaces. Share this project My aim with this project was to push the layers of digital and physical process to be not just be the way in which I worked, but to be visible in my outcomes.
