Summary

Final work

I'm a Psychology of Fashion graduate with a keen interest in the stories we tell through style and the psychology behind them. My work explores how identity, emotion, and culture intersect in the world of fashion, often through a journalistic lens. Whether analysing trend cycles, unpacking the politics of personal style, or spotlighting underrepresented voices, I’m passionate about using writing as a tool to dig deeper into what we wear and why. With a blend of curiosity and critique, I aim to bring thoughtful, psychologically driven perspectives to fashion media and cultural commentary.

Really trough draft before deadline planning on sorting it soon but been very busy working

This project explores the psychological impact of social media-driven fashion trends and microtrend culture on identity, individuality, and subcultural expression. Through a qualitative lens, it investigates how fashion consumers navigate emotional pressure, style performance, and the erosion of authentic self-expression in an accelerated trend cycle. Combining thematic analysis with cultural insight, the work aims to shed light on the complex relationship between fashion, digital spaces, and the self.
