My project explores materials that respond to movement and time - leather that softens, metal that bends, paint that cracks along the curves of the body. I am drawn to the process of change rather than the pursuit of perfection. I am exploring jewellery transforms with the wearer, becoming part of their story. I want each piece to show signs of life and change, not flawlessness - jewellery that merges with the body and holds not just beauty, but a record of its wearer’s journey.

Research and process

“Imprints” Process and Development
My sketchbook was a place I would come back to the most throughout the project, especially during the experimentation and planning stages of garment development. It helped me understand what worked best and gave me a clearer visual insight into my ideas. I chose to include it because it's a crucial part of the project; not only does it show the final outcomes, but it also documents my thoughts and creative journey along the way.
