Through this study, I examined the discourse on sustainability in the fashion industry. Particularly, I compared how consumers and different brands discuss it. My research revealed fascinating gaps and overlaps in language and values. From these springboards, I explored how a common discourse could bridge these gaps. The idea behind this work is that collective action is more possible when we all speak the same language.
Key skills developed: data interpretation and analysis, academic writing, and research skills. These add to my extensive expertise in conceptual advertising through my work at top London agencies. They also translate to capabilities in sustainability strategy, people and culture consulting, market research and education.
