This project explores the concept of lost items through a transformable vest-bag made from translucent organza. The narrative takes place along the Thames shore, where The Wave is a collector of lost items who archives things by forgetting them. I, The Rememberer, is the one who interrupts the forgetting by displaying the items. Inspired by mudlarked objects, the piece captures both the presence of these lost items and the negative space they leave behind. When worn as a vest, the items are displayed across the body, as a bag, the items stagger and complement each other, revealing presence through absence.
