It asks us to listen beyond ourselves, to listen beyond our current time. Through curated listening sessions, the work considers how the practice of Quantum Listening can serve as a method for accessing and preserving the sonic memory of the Black diaspora. This project also reimagines the DJ as a sonic archivist, a conduit through which ancestral sound can be reactivated. Through quantum listening sessions, attendees are invited to listen deeply, sensing the vibration of collective memory through sound. Past, present, and future fold into one continuous groove, offering a space for reflection, connection, and transformation.
