The Unburnt Heir is an original high-fantasy short film set in the world of A Song of Ice and Fire. It follows Visenya Targaryen, a rare human-dragon hybrid born from the dark legacy of Valyrian blood magic. Inspired by lore of stillborn Targaryen children in house of the dragon , this story imagines a child who survived—hidden from a world that fears her.

As Westeros teeters on the edge of civil war, Visenya is hunted by an assassin, Alessa Greenfeld. Their dynamic shifts when Visenya embraces her true nature, reclaiming her identity and power.

Exploring themes of otherness, legacy, and self-acceptance, the film asks how myths and bloodlines shape who we are. , The Unburnt Heir blends fantasy spectacle with emotional depth. Sculptural costume design is central to visualising transformation, offering a fresh, teen-accessible take on Martin’s world—while still appealing to fans of rich, morally complex fantasy.
