My work explores the degradation of imagery and memory over time, focusing on historical events such as acts of terrorism by Basque separatists in Spain. In response, I have created drawings, projections and image transfers as well as a short animation using receipts and thermal printing. These materials, like memory, are unstable; as the chemicals on the surface of the heat sensitive paper decay, my images will deteriorate, emphasising the fragility of remembrance.
