Final work

I am a multidisciplinary artist whose work defies the ordinary and traditional thinking. I explore unconventional ways of creating art and I treat each process as a journey for which I develop all areas of thinking. I would describe my artistic process as chaotic and colorful. I feel it reflects in my work whether its installation, sculpture, painting, film, textiles or photography. I find peace within my art and strive to create a positive atmosphere for those viewing it too.

This project is an ode to both my successes and failures which have helped me get to where I am today. The idea behind it was to wear the outfit on a red carpet at an award ceremony. I have used nail art as my primary media as it is my form of self expression and a way for me to show my creativity to others. Each nail on the skirt has been individually painted with patterns, symbols, phrases and the names of those who are important to me. The panels over the dress represent armour protecting the nails.
