Sonny Kong
About
Sonny Kong is an Innovation Design Engineer at RCA/Imperial. His journey to design is rooted in his experience in Mathematics, Performance Art and AI, where he seeks novel algorithmic solutions to solve some of world’s most complex problems (often NP-Hard).
His part work includes:
- LastCall: an electric vehicle fire sensor + protocol that autonomously evacuate cars in a disastrous event.
- Pathia (as seen on Atlantic Magazine): an educational AI software that helps autistic children
- Own: an AI agent that helps early career candidate to plan and execute their dream careers.
- Loooop: an exhibition that lies to acquire data from users for a shopping experience, but instead, making up rumours and displaying them.

Sonny is currently the co-founder of Ventrix Labs (ventrixlabs.com). He is building a decentrazlied carbon capture start-up that turns built-environment waste emissions into CO2 gas to make new drinks and bricks!
