About
The alarming rise in battery fires at recycling facilities highlights a critical flaw in our current e-waste management. These incidents are a stark reminder of the hidden dangers lurking in our discarded electronics. Project Reboot directly confronts this challenge with a groundbreaking, two-part intelligent recycling system.
Part 1: The Smart Collection Bin Our system begins with an advanced collection bin equipped with AI-powered image recognition. This technology identifies and segregates high-risk components, such as lithium-ion batteries, at the point of disposal, mitigating the primary cause of e-waste fires. Part 2: The Digital Traceability Platform Through the use of Near Field Communication (NFC) tags, every item is assigned a unique digital identity. This creates an unbroken, transparent chain of custody that you can access through our intuitive digital platform. Follow your device’s journey, understand its environmental impact, and be confident in its responsible recycling.
By seamlessly integrating these technologies, Project Reboot transforms e-waste recycling from a hazardous gamble into a safe, educational, and accountable process. We are building a circular economy and fostering safer communities, one device at a time.
