About

Isaac is a designer and engineer with a background in Mechanical Engineering, currently completing a dual MSc/MA in Innovation Design Engineering at Imperial College London and the Royal College of Art. He works across hardware, software, and environmental systems, focusing on the intersection of human needs, sustainability, and intelligent systems in product development. His projects have been exhibited across the UK, Spain, and China.

His recent projects include:

LastCall Technologies: A smart sensor system that detects early signs of electric vehicle fires and enables autonomous car evacuation via V2I communication to prevent fire spread.

Nulla: An electrostatically charged sleeve that passively captures harmful microparticles during sanding and scraping—using decorators’ natural hand movements without disrupting workflow.

BrewLeather: A sustainable bio-leather made from brewer’s spent grains (BSGs), designed to be compostable or safely consumed by cattle at the end of its lifecycle.

Drop Rehab: A gamified VR rehabilitation device for foot drop patients that boosts engagement and recovery by turning repetitive exercises into an interactive experience.

During his time at IDE, he also worked as a Design Engineer and Aerodynamicist at Imperial Formula Racing, enhancing race car performance through CFD and aerodynamic optimisation, and as a Research Assistant at the Hamlyn Centre for Robotic Surgery.
